How do I control Circle Dock without a mouse?

Effective Release 0.9.3.1 most of Circle Dock's functionality can be controlled by keyboard commands. This mode is primarily provided for users who intend to use Circle Dock on a multimedia PC and using a (programmable) remote control.

To configure Circle Dock for this mouse-less mode on a permanent basis, you should change four settings in the main Properties Dialog:

·     On the Toggle Visibility sub-page of the Visibility page, change the Mouse Button to "Keyboard Emulation".
·     On the Dock Items sub-page of the Elements page, ensure that Highlight the Item (when mouse cursor moves over Item) is enabled (ie checked).
·     On the Dock Shape page, ensure Format is set to "Constant Number of Items Per Circle"
·     On the same page, adjust the Number of Items Per Circle to suit your needs.

You can now control Circle Dock with the following keys:

Caveat

You should ensure that your PC's mouse cursor is nowhere near the dock as all items will continue to react to its presence.
